i come to this way of thinking IM pfren by internet chess , a site with a blue dragon logo was where i found myself facing folk from all over the world , and they would make loads and loads of different openings , so i booked up quick to stand a chance and found i actually loved opening theory

but one saying i think we both can agree on is

"jack of all trades , master of none "

Almost always if they play Queen's Gambit. Otherwise, I don't like d4

d4 is an opening move where isn’t much tactics. If you are a tactical player d4 is a move you watch out for. To make it a e4 game u play e6 but u must know the french. Also your opponent can lay c4 after u play e6 making it nimzo-Indian or queens gambit whether u play nf6 or d5

Yes. Almost every French player should be playing e6 to d4 yet hardly anyone seems to. If you are completely comfortable in the French then there is no reason to not try and play into it from d4.

I want to keep my options flexible as a French player in case they go for the London so I can develop my bishop. I usually play 2...c6 do people go into Slav mode but the problem is when they are boring people and go for the exchange Slav.

Yes, probably most d4 players will not play 2.e4 after 1.d4 e6, but c4...
