Advice for Colle

Black is playing a mixture of the Nd7 variation, Queens indian, and slav system. I have only found these lines individually, but not combined. I played a tournament game against this and lost a while ago. I think Black ended up 0-0-0 and I lost to a kingside attack.

What would be your plan here? Can we do the usual e5? Usually with the Queens indian formation I like to put a N on e5, but that is under blacks control here.

Cannot comment on that – not experienced enough.

Just one question: have you considered the Torre Attack, which is basically very close to the Colle System, with the difference that the bishop in c1 develops (usually to g5) before being trapped by the knight?

Cheers,

I would put knight on g5 to have the 2nd horse aiming the e4 square and to give the queen some space to move. I don't know if you have a name for that continuation, if it is another opening. No theory training  here.Embarassed
