Aggressive Response to 4...Nf6 in the Scotch

How on earth is white better after that?

Rubidium

Are you really a 1700?

This opening master must have gotten all his points from the first four moves.

So bxf6 instead of night and white is easily better, is this guy really an IM?

So you meant to play that in the game?

Seems your brother somehow keeps getting on the computer and messing up your games.

Bxf6 Bxf6 Nxf6 Kg7 uhh...

You know, everyone says the parham is so great, but the hippo is obviously better. I just learned the setup, and that was already enough to win me one blitz game, without needing any theory. Obviously, if I can win one game it has an unstoppable attack, and no matter how hard white tries he can not survive my restrained but powerful setup! It was even used by Spassky in his WC match vs Petrosian. ONE GM USING AN OPENING MEANS IT PWNS.

Disclaimer: For those of you who don't get it, I'm joking. The hippo is not a good opening. This post is making fun of the way the parham has been promoted. The blitz game is real though.

At least he knows the basic rules of castling, that's more than pfren, rubidium, and helzeth can say...

Rubidium

Sorry, but your sacrifice was unsound after Qg5

Helzeth

your variation with bxf6 was one of the most stupid variations I've ever seen. There was no need for black to hang his queen.

and what happens after rc1 nd4 qe3

Are you sure you're whatupyodog? He seemed to have at least some sort of a tactical eye. You remind me far more of gavinator. The level of an untalented fool.

Qg5.

The parham has been promoted with less dignity.

The_Gavinator

Really, cuz I've pwned you in about 5 of your lines so far...

Helzeth

Well yes, if you capture your own knight then black will be so chocked that he may or may not resign.

Maybe I should stop paying attention to you aswell now. Mostly because I get the feeling that you're gavinator on whatups account.

A queen cannot go from e3 to h5.

Yes it can, see above diagram. It is a super queen Laughing.

Rubidium

With a super queen, you can put a knight and queen in the same square, whatup. So why not QNh5 winning? Just remember you can't check with a knight.

I don't think the pgn editor will let me post a diagram showing this situation Frown. It's not designed to handle super queens.
