Alekhine Defence

Recently, I've tried out the Alekhine Defence and I've had pretty good results with it. This is a lucky example where the Alekhine Defence's hypermodern nature let me win in a pretty satisfying way:

However, I am aware that the best try is the modern variation (although the four pawns attack is technically the most critical try, it seems to score relatively well for Black, most likely because it gives Black a large center to target (which is what s/he wants to do anyway in the Alekhine Defence)), as it doesn't give Black much to target.

Is the Alekhine Defence a good standard opening for Black? Is it still a good standard opening if my opponents are likely to play the modern variation which gives them a decent edge without being too risky for them?
