no one has any advice for improvements, lines that are annoying to face as vienna players or ANYTHING to add? it's like the vienna is a top secret game no one is allowed to discuss from black's perspective
anti-Vienna repertoire for a gambiteer?
Well, since you mentioned 'reversed kings gambit', you could try this, as long as you don't care what the engine thinks.
I'm trying to put together a "reversed king's gambit" repertoire (rousseau gambit, jaenisch/schliemann etc.) and am having a really hard time finding discussions about the pros and cons of black's replies. I'm looking for maximum development/mobility and double edged tactics filled type positions and despise quiet positional setups. mostly using performance stats, this is my best guess for a repertoire
I already dismissed one popular line I can't remember the name of for being too quiet and positional... the opposite of what I'm looking for

if anyone has any suggestions for improvements (as in development and/or attacking) or can state the differences between 2 candidate lines are appreciated. getting rid of the scandinavian is much harder than hoped for with all these new move orders with little info online on the pros and cons of each reply and with sooo many branches to learn. just trying to study the rousseau gambit with its tricky move orders convinced me to stop trying to drop the scandinavian.
any help getting into the kinds of games I want to play like the englund gambit > hartlaub/charlick is doing for me dropping the ANNOYING "slav-wall" against 1.d4, but only 1 or two games a day at a time.
