Why dont black play Be4 and do simplification.
Control of centre and value of centre pawns become less and less whenever you exchange pieces. And side pawns are ways valuable than centre pawns in endgame with a few pieces.
I played the black side of this line, with considerable success, for several years, but I have concluded that White does get an enduring edge with Ne1 or Nd4, followed by f3 and e4. This doesn't mean Black doesn't get chances too! But I think there are easier roads to equality for Black in the Rubinstein variation.
