why do i keep losing
i am a player about 100 elo. i was like nearly 300 a few weeks ago. somehow, recently, i have not won a single game. any advise or answers on how i can improve?
I mean some players need more praxis, other need more theory, others don’t know enough in tactics, strategies, especialy people of lower elo than 600. You could wath some chess vidoes on YT f.ex. GothamChess.
and I suggest do more bishop a knight trades and keep track of your moves to try to contradict what your opponent will do
Stop chasing openings. Start mastering chess principles. I’ve seen players improve faster this way. Reach out anytime if you want guidance on what actually matters in chess.
I don't agree with this.
- At least 20 puzzles every day.
- Every day one 15 + 10 game. After the game you analyze it: First you see for yourself what you could have done better, then you let the engine analyze the game. Move after move you look and try to understand why this move was the best move.
- Tactics are also important. You can learn this through, for example, the Step method https://www.stappenmethode.nl/en/index.php. Make everyday one page.
- Is there a chess club near you? Look for people with whom you can play chess in real life OTB.
