Sicilian najdorf as the first choice for me. I play that myself. Very much in my style, complex and exciting
Apparently, the Caro-Kann is "the opening for me"

Pretty cool quiz. Below is how I scored. Its #1 recommendation was the French, which I admit somewhat fits my taste though I've *never* played it as Black. Its #5 recommendation, The Four Knights, is what I do typically play. The quiz should have asked about memory or memorization, which would have ruled out its #3 recommendation for me, the Ruy Lopez.
----------
The French Defence is a chess opening characterized by the moves 1. e4 e6. The French has a reputation for solidity and resilience, though it can result in a somewhat cramped game for Black in the early stages. Black often gains counterattacking possibilities on the queenside while White tends to concentrate on the kingside.
I never take these tests too seriously but the results were interesting.
1/- The French defence - I never liked the French, don't play it at all unless I am coaching someone who wants to learn it.
2/-Sicilian Najdorf - I like this one, I always play a Sicilian against 1/-e4 but more often the Dragon because I have studied it more.
3/-Caro-Kann - Nope don't like it but it does solve the Bishop problem in the French
4/- Ruy Lopez - Nope, too many lines already mapped out for about 20 moves, never play it.
5/- English - I'm working on this one & am liking it, I will probably play it much more as I learn more about it.
6/- Sicilian Dragon - my most used defence against 1.e4 Very much my style
7/- 4 Knights Game - Never interested me, never played it & no desire to try it.
8/- Kings Gambit - I like this one & roll it out sometimes for surprise value, nice sharp lines & dynamic play.
9/- & 10/- Evans Gambit & Grobs Attack - never interested me, never played them & probably never will.
Ok, some results right on the money others way off the mark. A bit of fun though & about what I would expect from a fairly simplistic quiz!!
