Are my go to openings good?

4.Bg5 is only one of NUMEROUS lines in the Pirc. You better prep the following too!
4.Be3
4.f4
4.Nf3
3.f3
(Then there are offbeat lines)
As White, you also have to have answers to:
1...c5
1...e6
1...c6
1...d6
1...g6
1...Nf6

thanks for the advise!

As white you are can play the setup with e4, Nc3, g3 against many (most) black replies if you like the kind of position.
Your black opening is fine, but as already said there are numerous white strategies and tactics.
Have fun and enjoy your game

How do you feel about them? Why are you opening that way? Really, those are the two most important questions. Well, perhaps a third - How successful are they?
Good luck.

I don't check profiles for ratings. If he is going to study an opening, he can't half-a$$ it is the point.
Whether or not he should be studying openings in the first place may be a different story.
... Even I, an expert, have different levels of mastery against each response. If a 5 signifies a typical Expert level understanding, 10 is master level, and 1 is 1400 level, I would put myself at the following against each response:
1...e6 - 10
1...c5 - 6
1...c6 - 6
1...d6 - 5
1...g6 - 4
1...d5 - 4
1...Nf6 - 4
1...e5 - 3

What the BLEEP is your point partial quoting from another thread? I agree with another user from another thread weeks ago. If you are going to quote people, put the entire quote! Otherwise, you mislead and try to make a completely different point than what the full message said! I am about as sick of your BS as that other poster is!
At this point, you better watch what you say, because I WILL start redacting your posts only William Barr style and you ain't going to like it!
(If you don't believe me, see "A Complete repertoire For a Beginner" - You don't like it? Cut your BLEEP now and use complete quotes or don't quote at all!)

Like I said before - you keep this sh*t up and I will continue to Redact your messages as well intentionally mis-representing your posts like you do with mine! You are NOT going to like it, and every word will be your own!

I do not intentionally mis-represent your posts. Do you know if chess.com has a policy towards the use of threats as a method of coercion?
