Play that against anyone rated more than 1500 and you wont win a single game out of 6,000.
Are openings really important? I dont think so after i won this...
Ya i think i shud try that against higher rated players before concluding anything, but my point really is whether we need to play theoretically or can random play like this suceed?
Your opponent was trying to use the Sholar's mate(Is that the name?) and you defended accordingly. The thing is, the Scholar's Mate is rarely if ever used at all(outside of lower ranked play) because it's just so easy to defend against.
The dedicated openings are DEFINITELY better and very important for higher ranked play. I suggest you don't worry much about openings too much until you're like 1500 or so.
Well, am i getting better at it or is my opponent making mistakes? This opponent was slightly higher rated than the previous one...now i will be using this some more games and try to beat 1500 rated player as challenged by zxb995511
Those opponents are juste week, at this level opening is a pretty little part of the game.
When you will be about 1500-1600 in OTB chess, it will be the time to study openings.
Interesting games to watch. :)
I don't think you really won any of those games because of your new opening. It seems both sides were hanging tons of pieces all over the place.

As they say, a stopped watch will show the correct time twice per day. Now if you just happen to check on that stopped watched when it happend to be correct, then on that basis you would conclude that we do not need clocks or watches or sun dials that provide an accurate time? Faulty logic, faulty conclusion.

I ( low rater ) have never seen a king used like that , it would probably short - circuit the Data Base Explorer .

How did you win? Your King was nowhere near the other side dued.
Attn Bongcloud organizers! Make this a rule! lol!

You're taunting them succesfully and they try to crush you in 10 moves. Wiser players develop their army before going for the attack. But I guess you knew that already

Well, the thing is that the opponents think people using such moves are new to chess and think of quick mating....just see an example, my opponent sees only my king and forgets that i have other pieces as well...
Well, a lot is being said about sound openings and theory of openings, but if the oponent cant stop such absurd openings, why worry about the theory?
