I posted a lot of these on a thread called «unorthodox openings». I'll post the link here later.
PD: Coca Cola gambit is the best opening name ever, yet we couldn't say the same of the opening itself

The Traxler may not be the best reply to the FLA but even the best replies by white still result to an unclear and very sharp position. If the Hippopotamus Defense is the one with double fianchetto as white, then it shouldn't be in this list.

The traxler counterattack is not a FLA line, it's a knight's attack line. The FLA occurs after 5. Nxd5 Nxf7

No such thing as the knight's attack opening; the Traxler is a line in the Two Knights' Defense.
I'm personally of the opinion that the name 'Fried Liver Attack' should be scrapped because people keep getting confused about what it is, and the edgy name doesn't help clarify it.

No, the fried liver attack occurs after this:
And the traxler counterattack after this:
Completely different lines.
I thought it would be cool to have a thread dedicated to see and discuss bad openings, just for the laughs!
With bad openings I don't mean those that lead to mate in 3 or things like that, only bad openings not fast mates.
-Italian game: Jerome gambit
Sacrificing 2 pieces to get a losing position, nice!
-Scandinavian defense: Kloosterboer Gambit
Sacrifice 2 pawns so you can get your king as exposed as possible. Very suspicious...
-Busch-Gass Gambit, Chiodin Gambit
Why wouldn't you sac a pawn so you can have your king completely alone and no control of the center? What could go wrong?
-Damiano defense ( with 3.Nxd5 fxe5 )
Looks good huh?
-King's gambit Accepted: Poleiro Gambit ( with 4.g3 )
Who is gambiting who?
-Ware Opening: Meadow Hay Trap ( the same on the kingside is called 'Begginer's Trap' )
Exchange sacrifice? That bishop was a monster there!
-Alekhine Defense: Brooklyn Variation
Black moves second? Pff black moves third
-Bongcloud attack
Are we on the endgame yet?
-Hippopotamus Defense
A knight on the rim is what!?
-Grob Opening: Double Grob, Coca-cola Gambit
Sounds good
Barnes defense
You shall not pass!
Italian Game: Berlin Defense, Traxler Counterattack, Knight Sacrifice Line
Please take the bishop take the bishop take the bishop...
I will post more when I find cool ones
