I was referring to this. Both Muzio Gambit and Allgaier Gambit (both of which are variations of King's Gambit) gambit a knight for an attack against the Black king.

ajmeroski , they start from pawn sacrifice and that is why it is known has gambit !!
by the way , a knight is not sacrificed in Allgaier gambit.
