There is no such thing as the "Sicilian Defense, French Variation". Whoever labeled openings on chess.com was drunk when they did it. Part of the problem is they try to put a variation name with every move. After 1.e4 c5, it is simply the Sicilian Defense. After 2.Nf3 e6, it is still simply the Sicilian Defense. Now 3.d3 would be the start of the Kings Indian Attack. 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 and now:
4...Nc6 is the Taimanov Variation, 4...Nf6 5.Nc3 Nc6 is the Sicilian Four Knights Variation, 4...Nf6 5.Nc3 d6 is the Scheveningen Variation, and 4...a6 is the Sicilian Kan.
The French have no affiliation with that crazy opening the people in Sicily came up with. The French specifically came up with 1...e6 in response to 1.e4, not any of the other 19 moves by White nor playing ...e6 on any subsequent move. Their idea was to play ...e6 to set up specifically ...d5 to attack the unprotected e4 pawn without having to recapture with the Queen if White takes on d5.

And the 4 best words to describe the Najdorf:
1) Overrated
2) Weak
3) Blows
4) Smells
Wow, I never knew the Najdorf smelled. What does it smell like? A dead mouse under the sofa? Some cheese put away in a cupboard instead of the refrigerator? That "stuff" dug out from under a toenail?
Wow, I never knew the Najdorf smelled. What does it smell like?
It smells like... victory!
