Best Stats or Best Theory?

As black, I've played the Pirc, e5, the Sicilian, and the Caro-Kann against e4.

Most chess players will tell you that the worst response on that list is the Pirc, but for whatever reason, the numbers say I seem to win significantly more often when I play that opening as opposed to the other ones.

So, what do you guys think I should do? I'm trying to strengthen my opening theory and I'm wondering should I should play the "best opening" or play the opening that has me win more often?

Note: I only played the French in blitz games and I also haven't played ...e5 in at least 2 years. I also played the Caro-Kann a lot more in real life than I did online for some reason.

I usually only look at stats to get a broad sense of what others are likely to play. Stats don't tell you anything at all about the position, or which lines are best.

Go with theory 99.7% of the time. The other 7.8%, go with stats.

You have to play what you're best at, which is obviously the pirc. Also, you should try and find openings similar to the pirc to play.

No reason to ditch an opening that other people say is good. Play what you're best at.
