1 d4 d5 2 e4 de 3 f3? is the original Blackmar Gambit, which is considered to be refuted by theorists after 3...e5! The Lemberger occurs in the BDG: 1 d4 d5 2 e4 de 3 Nc3 e5, which is strong for Black, but not a bust to the BDG as is 3...e5 against the Blackmar Gambit.
