Ahh Thank you! Lichess had no games in the database, that seems a lot more playable with keeping both a & f-pawns although I'd still prefer the white side
To anyone with megadatabase that can check if this position has ever occurred before 🙏 or those with expertise on the Botvinnik variation of the Semi-Slav:
I just found this troubling move (28.Qa3) that gives white great practical winning chances in the 16.Rb1 line, insight?
This move gives white a +0.50 advantage according to Stockfish 14 at depth 41. All other games I've seen before continued 28.Rxb4 Nb6 = which is why this is such a shocker to me
