Does someone know a good book for white against the caro-kann?

Other than e4 Repertoire books, which would have the Caro-Kann within it, probably the only one that's objective and not highly dated is "Grandmaster Secrets: The Caro-Kann" by Peter Wells.

Of course, if you go to www.qualitychess.co.uk, and look at their publishing schedule, they have a 4-book, highly theoretical repertoire coming out on 1.e4, but the one that has the Caro-Kann will be a while.  They also have a more manageable "Grandmaster Guide" series (2-books) on 1.e4.  One of them will be Sicilian and French.  The other 1...e5, Caro-Kann, and others.  Both I believe are supposed to be out in 2013.

UPDATE:  I just checked.  Playing 1.e4 - Sicilian and French is supposed to come out in May, Playing 1.e4 - Caro-Kann, 1...e5, and Minor Lines is supposed to come out in June.

These dates are approximate, but not that far from now.

I'll admit I haven't paid much attention prior as to when these would come out because I push "the other pawn" as White!  :-)

Is this 4-book repertoire on 1.e4 include the book "1 e4 vs The French, Caro-Kann and Phillidor" by Parimarjan Negi just published in August or is that something else?

If it is part of the 4-book repertoire, is this book any good?
