and, we're back with another one, this one I call the english opening: queen's control variation

superzacian9

looking good

maxwell4114

they can also easily transfer it into a nimzo-larsen, and not only in the way I showed in there too

and there are probably even more! so it's very similar to an already decent opening, so it's practically un-trashable!

and we have another one, and yes, I found this at like 9:30 at night, I call it the sicillian defense: open, najdorf, Bishop's bite gambit:

this is one that finally isn't losing

this GM even praised this new opening (it's not actually new btw, it just doesn't have a name) https://www.chess.com/article/view/review-the-sicilian-najdorf-6-bg5

The position after 6.Be2 is good for White. He is ahead in development and will get another free tempo with Nc3. He can also castle and bring a rook to the open e-file. White isn't winning, but he has move than the normal first-move advantage

I'm sorry, could you rephrase that? I didn't quite understand what you meant

Sure. After 5...Qxe4+ white will play Be2, giving him a slight lead in development. White will then follow with Nc3, hitting Black's queen, so that's another free developing move for White. Additionally, White has a pawn on d4 against Black's pawn on d6, which gives him a small space advantage. These are all small advantages, but they add up

which opening is this in? and could you just use the board mechanic to show me the position please?

maxwell4114

so, I found another one, and I'll admit it's pretty bad, but I call it the center gambit, it's an extremely aggressive gambit in the center game
