Castling Queen Side against the Slav

I don’t think castling queenside in the Slav is a very good idea as black often will blay dxc4 and can continue with b5 and a5, a4 and a3 starting a huge attack, I personally enjoy playing an early c5 as white to lock down the queenside and make blacks position a nightmare as you can follow after b6 with b4 and a5 with a3 as long as you have a rook on the a file and your queen still on its starting square because after Rxa1 and Qxa1 you possess the only open file and have a massive space advantage, I’ve had games like this with a +2 advantage

In addition to what Ineffaceable said, the slav is a sturdy position for black, it's not something a queenside castle is going to break down rapidly. The d file is not especially vulnerable either, c6+e6 usually create a very firm grip over it, so you don't even gain a tempo in the attack. Infact, your king might just get in the way by blocking the c file, if anything.
