When I play a game, can someone remove a chat between players? Cause that happened. Not by me!

yes, just click on chat during a game and there's an option to disable it.

why is this in chess oppenings? at least general chess discussion if not chess.com community.

If a moderator was watching the game they can remove the chat, if there was reason, or if you typed something and it didn't appear, then it is possible that the filter got it, but you would have received a warning in that case.

Yeah, can't say for sure what might have happened but if a mod was watching, it is possible it was done accidentally.

Malware or accident, my password was also hacked.
