Chess opening essentials

Hello,

 

Does anybody have this series-Chess Opening Essentials. If so, do you think it's worth the price. I normally rely on GM Repertoire books but chess opening essentials is closer to the level at which I actually play.

If one already has tentative opening choices, I would suggest trying to get introductory books about the specific openings. Example: First Steps: The French by Cyrus Lakdawala
