Chess opening names

who names chess openings? There are some chess openings which have been *named but not found in the chess.com database

Yea... I really don't know if I should learn the names of different openings...

i named 1.e4 d5 2.d4!? Bc5 3.Qe2!? the zeller ice queen after researching playing the BDG and seeing it has something close to a 70% win rate under 2000.

Chess openings are usually named after the grandmaster who first played it successfully or after the place where it was first played.

yeah but the exceptions are the ones which im wondering about
