vacation time is ridiculous

I don't normally use vacation, but a month ago I had an emergency operation and I was unable to play for almost 3 weeks. Vacation saved my bacon. Just saying there are legit uses of it. I am glad that vacation time is turned off for all games if you play on any game and that it automatically uses 24 hours minimum when turned on. It's at least a minimum to curb abuse (not that it totally does). I'd be in favor of several days minimum to be removed every time you turn it on instead of just 24 hours. Do I need 90 days? Probably not. If you don't like it, play no vacation games or block users who use it in ways you don't like.

There are also times where my job takes me out of internet connectivity for 2-4 weeks at a time. I'm sure I'm probably the exception to most but glad there is an option for vacation time.

Please get rid of it. If you start a correspondence game, you make a commitment. If you can't keep that commitment, you lose.

Vacation Mode is completely broken. I'm in a game where my opponent activated vacation time for the second time mid-game, even though he played multiple rapid and bullet games during that time. He is or is not in vacation? This make no sense.

Agreed, vacation time is just rubbish. And you have to pay for more? Yeah it shouldn't exist. I get why you are annoyed, and when I just discovered it, I was shocked by how dumb it is

I completely agree. If one is really om vacation, ao be it. I can understand that feature. When I went on my honeymoon, I was gone for nearly 3 weeks; however, the abuse of vacation is if some goes om vacation, but then plays bullet or blitz or rapid. No, no, no...if an account is on vacation, then the ENTIRE account is on vacation, not just daily...makes no sense at all....

Also really annoying when yoir opponent goes 'on vacation' in a completely lost game. Just resign...but no...vacation...sigh
