Chess Openings Analyzer (Unique, Free Software!)

I've had a piece of software created to help analyze certain material and positional elements during the Opening phase:

- Center Domination
- Control
- Point Count
- Space Count
- Territorial Domination

... They've all methods that Yasser Seirawan teaches about in his Winning Chess series of books, but I found them a chore to perform manually (i.e. paper/brain combo). The Chess Openings Analyzer I've had created simply speeds up the process of analyzing these elements.

There's a bit more to it than that, however ... I've provided more details about it on my website.

COA v1.0 has now been released with a Creative Commons CC BY License, for more details, visit this page.

I have to confess, I've long since given up trying to use that v1.0 version; I use my trusty old Fritz 12, as the initial COA experiment didn't exactly turn out the way I had in mind ... if I'm being kind, it's internet dog poo Embarassed. I was tempted to remove it entirely from the website, so that nobody else, um, trod in it Yell. But, I figured there's many talented, creative computer programmers out there Cool, who might like a challenge or a project like this, to see if they can weave their binary magic to make something better (assuming that's possible with what I'd had created). I've still got ideas for improving it, but I'm not a programmer and don't have either the time to learn the programming languages to try and make it better, nor do I have the money to throw at some creative caffeine addict on Elance. So, it's gone all Creative Commons, with a CC BY License, which means anybody can use it or modify it, even for commercial purposes. Click here, for more details about Chess-Game-Strategies.com as I've also switched this website to a Creative Commons License (CC BY).

As a punishment for inflicting that v1.0 turd on you, I've just given myself a Chinese Burn. Yell
