Chigorin defence - looking for a buddy

I've just discovered this defence, I find it very interesting as I play the queens gambit as white myself. The chigorin really messes up whites plans. How are you getting on with it?
I just started experimenting with the Chigorin. I'm talking about 1.d4 d5 2.c4 Nc6 and not the variation of the Ruy Lopez.
I think it's interesting and it would be good to have at least as a secondary weapon. Why I like it:
- Very rare, thus obscure to most people. They know your semi-slav until move 20.
- It's still respected and it's not a crazy gambit, so you're not playing for tricks.
- You get activity, very tactical play, and chances for an attack. No piece is entombed like in many d4 defences.
- I don't think there's much theory, so it should be something that you can prepare well very soon.
