In the Old Sicilian, such counterattack is not so good and gives an advantage to white:
First line is called the Tiviakov Grand Prix, being popularized by Tiviakov and mixing Rossolimo and Grand Prix Attack.
The idea is to play liike a Rossolimo with Nc3 instead of Nf3, allowing f4. Of course, Black can avoid doubled pawns with Nd4 (a move which is rather bad on Rossolimo...).
the second Diagram is the Rossolimo with Nd4 being probably bad, the structure favouring white.

Oh, well, let it be Tiviakov Grand Prix. Though, without f4, it sounds inapproprite ; Closed Rossolimo looks more explanatory imho.
