These are some tips that will help a lot for beginners 1- play only long games don't play blitz or bullet play rapid 10+0 or 15+0 2- always think about your move and calculate as many moves as possible (do that in a complicated situation usually think 2 or more moves ahead cuz your a beginner) 3-never try the scholars mate cause it will cause you trouble and loss of tempo try solid openings and that's where you can learn them:YouTube, books(mostly recommend) 4-when you blunder a piece play on when there's hope 5-when you lose its not failure it's a free lesson that you will learn by analysing the game 6-when opponent trash talks don't answer and play 7-dont be scared to lose rating it's just a number (not Fide rating) 8-watch the games of the greatest players of all time 9-and if you want to do that all just join my club

Of course you can watch remote chess academy(shows traps in openings) (also teaches openings and what to do in middle games)
