Closed Sicilian
Against closed Sicilians I like to attack in the centre so I play e6, as usual. Try to play b5 without wasting a tempo on a6.
I personally always play c5 2.Nf3 and next move c4 to clamp down on d5(because d5 is often a way for black to challenge the white centre). Unless he plays d6. Then I play d4, cxd4, Nxd4, and c4 against whatever he plays next.
I play 2 c4 and transform the game into a Symmetrical English with e4 leading into the Botvinnik Variation.
Please elaborate. Which setup against the closed sicilian is best for black?
