I’m a 2100-rated player, and I occasionally make fatal blunders in the opening. It crushes my mindset and leads to a losing streak of several games in a row. Is this normal?

Yes, it is normal:

Obviously, you're much better at chess than me, but still, even high rated players make blunders in the opening, especially when in tilt or tired. Don't worry about it, gradually it should become less and less common over time.
