So I just played an amazing Catalan game without even knowing. I played fast. I thought I blundered a pawn. Then I thought I blundered a rook. Got crazy Lucky with a queen trap but I thought I was still losing. Made it work somehow. Proud of this one.

What do yall think???

How? How do you do it. I am out here stuck with my openings and you disobey the rule of “not using other openings Not in your repertoire” and you get +4? Like I don’t get it but you have the most luck in your life. Don’t try openings you don’t know or disobey what I said, go ahead.

It's my favorite opening. It's actually my main opening as white. You got this!!

https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=2687378 is a in ballpark toplevel game. It's unattractive for black to give up two bishops, and leave Bg2 strong as in actual game, with BxN. The nimzo/catalan with Nc3 is tricky. Carlsen has been played the white side of this.
