Never mind — I guess the point is 8. Be2 Nxf3+ 9. Bxf3 Ne5, and black is looking at both the bishop and at c4. Interesting, that’s something I hadn’t thought of before. Thank you for this

It's a great resource where I went a little overboard with the variations and the book is for 2000+ rated players but take whatever you can from it. I also find it helpful using the player opening explorer on Lichess (if you play there) to see where people deviate and see if Schandorff covered it in his book. Otherwise, clone the study (or chapter) and make your own edits

Colle setups are one possible solution. They can frustrate Benoni players (and Grunfeld players, as well).

those Bishops on c1 and b2 would frustrate me a lot personally. I prefer to play the main-lines with d5 and e4 gaining a big center, the game is guaranteed to be fun

For those who have trouble with the Budapest gambit: try Alekhine's 4.e4.  After the knight takes on e5 continue with f4 or Be3 or a3. Black will not be able to use the usual strategies and white has more space, a good center, and hasn't fallen behind in development.
