Trolls.   I mean to be and am.. and so? What will u do conspire together. e.g. Death(daeth). None have to look me face to face so u will ramble / rant as if  anand or carlsen are understood by the likes of a bunch of silly gossiping men who should know better. Being good at ( not great) chess is pretty much the same as being good at bridge, or horse shoes. You are not better nor worse then any that elects stating their views on the forums.I tell the young chess hopefuls concertrate on school, older ones i say get a job or join the peace corps.where u can learn a little about people. If u feel slighted by my words then maybe u can give some thought to your own.Welcome to the wonderful internet world, ah....but u know tech. as u all have the engines on ready.

ISTJs... lol. Trolls, all of them.

SJ's are only inclined toward Trolling.

P.S., the U.S. military (and the overall population) is loaded with them.

They want answers, they want decisions, and they want them NOW!

So do NT's, but the SJ's can't focus on the big picture, and the NT's have a terrible time focusing on the details.

Too often, SJ's drive me nuts.  As I do them.  Laughing

It's all the same.

80 percent of folks are Myers-Briggs "Sensor" Types.

So they won't believe @Death was an engine user, until it's posted.

Intuitive Types (the oppressed 20% minority) will freely form their own conjectures.  And go merrily on their way.

Especially us INTJ's .....ironically in light of your statement, there might be an incredibly "high concentration" of them on this site, as long as you don't hold it against me that they make up an incredibly small group of the general populous...

I didn't mean to imply that everyone on an internet chess site is an INTJ...there might be some ENTJ's...certainly, some INTP's, etc, etc...but if I could think of one place where INTJ's hang out on the web, it would be here. I met a guy in an INTJ forum named Sanskrit...any questions ?

It is funny that you post that... While on Personality Cafe, we used to stereo type different occupations and types of people based on the personality prerequisites...Unfortunately, while I think some stereo types are funny, especially when thinking about the personality requirements, not everyone shares in my sense of humor...

"Bang and Olufsen" always makes me chuckle.

I am an NT and I can focus on details, as long as pushy SJ's leave me the hell alone long enough to exact my perfectionisms...Tongue Out

The thing that blows my mind about stereotypes is the outcry isn't only due to people feeling mislabelled, but the truth hurts too... lol

I remember being on a remodeling job at a veternary clinic. There was a guy talking about overweight women. I remember answering him and saying yeah, you are right about that. About that time the superintendent came walking up and said," hey, there are women up front in the office area and some of them wouldn't like it if they heard you". I said, "well I didn't say any of them were fat". "If they took offense, then that would mean they were offended because, they thought the comments pertained to them". " If they thought that, it means they think they are fat". " If they think they are fat, why can't I " ?

He was like, ( In a half growling whisper ) " Shut the F#@K up before you get us all kicked off of this job...

@nameno1had That's a helluva super.

Don't get me wrong, I don't go around pointing out things to intentionally cause people grief. However, I am not one for double standards. If you think the sky is blue, I should be able to also. The truth shouldn't be a set of convenient realities that make some people comfortable, while undermining perhaps the only peace another may know.

It should be one reality that only happens to make some people happy at the moment. After all, if you have to fit into and understand a bunch of them, you stand to have a much tougher time of finding peace, than in the only truth.

In other words, if you have to be politically correct, you only help people live in denial. You are then perhaps even equally responsible for their failure, as an enabler. All of that said, there are discretionary ways to allude to the obvious. It just kills me to think that being politically correct used to mean you took a stand and said what was needed, even if controversial. Now-a-days, it has become a sugar coated truth or a manditory observance of ignorance of it, lest we should offend someone. Well, were does it end, when another is offended at being told they only can observe and speak part of the truth ?
