Thanks for the reply. I am currently playing a game in with I played c3. I know it's really defendable, but I just haven't seen this choice by black to not capture my first sacrifice but instead move Bb4+. Haven't found videos talk about that move and also didn't know if you should transition to a different opening or not.
I like to play the Stonewall Attack but have grown to like the Danish Gambit as well.
Hey everyone. I've been trying out the Danish Gambit since it appears to be a little simpler of an opening for a begninner. One thing I've been encountering recently has been a decline followed by Bishop to B4 check after offering up my first pawn at D4. I'm not quite sure how to respond and I've been doing a little research before making this post and can't find anything on Google about it.
Any advice you guys can give regarding this variation? Could be this one of the reasons it isn't very popular of an opening.
