The position isn't "good" or "bad," it's imbalanced. White has greater piece activity, and a strong kingside attack. Black has a material advantage. You be the judge.
Danish Gambit

that is a really good opening mr XYZ because the black ing is undefended and the material has been brought back level. Also white is superior in development.

Actually the King is safer than one might expect due to there being no queen or light bishop. Black can play g6 and Kg7 and eliminate most of whites threat. Knights and Rooks are too slow to mate quickly. I think black will be able to recover and still be up a pawn in the process.

I think there has been a misunderstanding,
What I meant was: The schlechter defense is not good for white but 4.Nxc3 is.

2 developed pieces and initiative for 2 sacrificed pawns...well it's balanced (by the way this opening is called Norwegian Gambit)

White does not get that much for his second pawn.
It only speeds up development while black still has the schlechter defense at his disposal.
The first pawn however speeds up development and increases central presence.
Therefore I prefer to only gambit one pawn.
And demonic soldier, I am certain this opening is called the danish gambit.
This opening is a great blitz opening. No, its not totally sound but its not so simple for black to defend against either.

no the danish gambit is the gambiting of 2 pawns where as the gambiting of 1 pawn is called the half-danish so you are both wrong!

Freddie, I own a book called gambiteer I, written by Nigel Davies wich features an entire chapter about this opening, the danish gambit with Nxc3. The point is: the minute white plays 3. c3 he enters the danish gambit. However the gambiting of only one pawn is sometimes also referred to as the half danish gambit.
So we are both right

I really like the imbalance - I started a one-round Danish Gambit tournament a few months ago, and we're getting to the last few games of it.
Here are a couple (hastily annotated) games that I thought were well-played by both sides.
My attack on a Schlecter defense:
Exploiting white's open queenside to defend against the gambit:

I haven't really studied exd5, but it seems weaker than Bxd5, which equalizes after the key Schlecter position (after the queen trade).
Looking at the opening explorer, white and black win equally after ...d5 Bxd5, whereas black wins 9 of the 12 games in the database after ...d5 exd5.
I'd advise Bxd5.
