Someone tried it against Carlsen the other week in the Pro Chess League. It didn't go well. (although to be fair, what would go well vs Magnus?). I face 3.c3 much more often than 3.Qxd4 in that position.
This is what I think of as annoyingly accurate play lol.
Probably super boring for Carlsen though. I could imagine him spending less than a minute for the whole game.
