you could try the Scandinavian defence 1.e4 d5 or the alekhine's defence 1.e4 Nf6 maybe even pirc defence 1.e4 d6 2.d4 nf6 and did you try the sicilian defence with e6?
Defence to e4
I agree with all the suggestions. The pirc is great if you enjoy the play of the sicilian. In addition to the pirc, there's also the czech defense wich is quite difficult to play against if you automatically assume it will turn into a pirc with g6 and Bg7. The scandinavian is also powerful, though I hear there's a lot more punch in the ...Qd6 variation versus the ...Qa5. Nc6 is the Nimzowitsch(however you spell it) defense, and it also can be quite hard to meet as white if you don't know the draw backs. But it sounds to me like none of these will be appealing if you don't want to look into the theory of the opening. No attack can be assumed all the time without knowing the theory, since alot of the time you are sacrificing material or position.

well i am willing to learn theory, but not like to much to handle like in the najorf
When I first started to play chess i evaluated a good deal of defences to e4. In the end I chose c5 the sicilian. After a few months of playing the dragon I just wanted change because i did not enjoy playing the dragon anymore. I tried the najorf variation, but soon realized that there was to much theory involed. Then i tried the Karo-can defence and i did not like the advance variation of the karo-can because it turns into a french like position and i strongly dislike the french. right now i am playing e5 and i don't like the positions in the ruy lopez or italian game. as you can see i am in Quite a dileema so please help by posting a king side attacking defence to e4.
thank you, KFC
