Defense that weakens kingside 1.d4

Hello i am looking for an opening against 1.d4

I like games where some pawns have been exchanged and there are some open files.

I prefer (is this very weird?) attacking the top right corner from blacks point of view. That means it is ideal for me if white castles queenside as i will be able to focus on this favorite spot of mine.

is there any defense against d4 which weakens whites kingside to such a degree that he is more likely to castle queenside.

In general i am just looking for defense which quickly weaken the pawn structure of whites kingside after he does 1.d4

Thank you :)

queenside, i prefer to attack whites queenside.

is there any opening in which this happens more often.

I read once that 90% of castling happens on the kingside so you aren't going to run into white's king too often with 1. d4

In most 1. d4 openings, if black is playing on the queenside, it's likely that white either has an advantage and/or central majority in the centre and I do think black needs to at minimum, stabilize the centre first.

I have to disagree with your assessment.  Black's play is only on the Queenside in a few instances against 1.d4:

Queen's Gambit Declined - Black tends to attack center or Kingside

King's Indian Defense - Kingside except in Four Pawns and Saemisch

Modern Benoni - White's Center

Nimzo-Indian - Literally 50/50, depends on what White does

Dutch (any line) - Kingside

About the only case where Black attacks queenside almost exclusively is in the Benko Gambit, but White's King LITERALLY NEVER castles Queenside in the Benko Gambit!

If you are limiting yourself to playing on one side of the board, you will NEVER be any good at chess.  Chess is a game of 64 squares.  Use all 64 of them!

I did say "if black is playing on the queenside"

Ok so i just looked at the benko gambit.

Rather early in the benko gambit white loses his D and C pawns, therefore one could say that the benko gambit leads to a game where white will castle kingside, never queenside as hes down 2 pawns on this side.

Im looking for an opening from black that fairly early takes pawns from whites KINGSIDE, by this i mean early on challenging F and E pawns.

So the opposite of the benko gambit where i destroy pawns on his queenside, i would like to play an opening that destroys or challenges his pawn structure on the white kingside early (F, and E for example).

I hope i can be spared the condescending remarks from some of you, such as  "chess imbecile" and " 1.d4 a5"

Im not a rated a master or anything, but considering the effort ive put into chess i am fairly decent, moreover im a nice guy and would like people to treat me nicely. Its ok to say in a nice manner that what im proposing is a bad idea, i understand this.

Divine-Shine, I don't think that there is an opening that does what you are asking for.  Maybe you're looking for something off-beat, like the Budapest (I don't play it, so I'm not sure if it fits your request).  But, other than a few specific lines in a few specific openings, I can think of nothing to help you.  Sorry if this is disappointing, but you have to play the game you have, not the one you want.  Good luck!

thanks for that post dashke yeah i guess i will just have to pick the opening which suits me best in another way.

I like the benko gambit as is though, looks like something i could play.

In general i play terrible games if they are very closed, as im not good at pawn structure or theory for that matter.

Well, closed structures are difficult for some players, but there are resourses available to help for free; for instance, youtube has many videos by strong players and many deal with closed/blocked structures, and chessgym helps you "work out" your game.  Rather than concentrating on openings, try to learn about pawn structures and how to play them--a closed position is just one that needs a little nudge to become open, the type of position you like to play.  When you learn this, you'll never be bored by blocked positions again--in a way, they become more fun than open games.  Good luck!

Hey Thriller fan i would take your post serious except you start out "Ok, clearly you have no clue what you are talking about" and  next "Make up your freaking mind!"

Maybe your tone becomes nicer later on but i dont feel like reading anything you have to say, you might be a good chess player but your entirely unpleasant in your tone on forums.

Haha i thought you would at least try to be nice in the end but you continue to be just malicious.

I guess this is where i insult you, instead i will just say, no one appreciates being talked down to, in the way you have towards me, why dont you spare me this then, since i dont appreciate what your doing, and i assume your original intent at some point was to help, although it seems now your only purpose is hatemongering.
