If people didn't struggle it wouldn't be popular would it.
Does anyone else struggle to play against the Grand Prix Attack?

Fighting the Sicilian With The Grand Prix Attack...

If they start with 2. Nc3 then I struggle, but if they start with 2. f4 then I do totally fine after 2... d5!

You are 1300 at blitz, I would not recommend the Sicilian Defense just yet buddy, focus on blunders forst
and of course we have the typical: "no openings!" fan right here at #8. If you struggle in an innocous variation changing the opening is not going to help, tactics flow from superior positions and blunders come from worse ones.

Or is it just me lol.
Try the O’Kelly side line. Blacks immediate expansion on the queenside with a fianchetto bishop with an x ray on the king side looks menacing after whites kingside castling and the alternative to queenside castling into a pawn storm with rooks barreling files has it conflicts. Strategy is straight forward because of the imbalance and next to no theory to learn and turn key ready for play with black. Just takes practice and experience:
