E6 Best defense for Stockfish?

I put sotckfish 15 to analyze the position after e4, and it says that e6 (French) is the best defense and equals the game, in addition it says that the best answer for White after e6 is c4 d5 exd5 exd5 d4, variation Monte Carlo exchanges. Is this correct???

The initial position is too complicated for any engine to consider everything.
It depends on the version and the depth.

1...e5, 1...c5, 1...e6, and 1...c6 are all supposedly a draw with best play.

So there should be no "best" between these, as they all end up at the same destination. They just follow different paths to get there, with their own unique challenges along the way.

I play c6, the Caro Kaan. And it's a great opening. You should try it.
