This is interesting. I once in a while play 1.f3, 2.Kf2, just for fun. I think I've won something like 1/3 of my games with it. I've noticed that there are actually a few games in the chess.com master database with 1.f3 2.Kf2. No idea why a master would play that, but it's fun stuff. I've also sometimes played 1.a3 which if anyone gives me static for I will tell them someone beat Morphy with it, which is true.

Yeah, well, the Hammerschlag 1. f3 & 2. Kf2 is totally unsound. It's just for fun and aficionados.
