I want to change my opening repertoire with white from 1. d4 to 1. e4. At Quality Chess, some books on 1. e4 will be available in a couple of months. However, to learn the new stuff, I have thought of buying the Encyclopedia of Chess Openings 2014 from Chessbase. Do you have any experience with this? My ELO is a little above 2050 but I hope to get a bit higher :-)

Surely someone has an opinion here. I assume that the quality of the 2013 and 2012 editions are more or less the same?!
