1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d6 3.Bc4 is best in my opinion. Exploiting the position will take some errors and imagination, but it is solid.

no way guise this is serious, how can we help this kid exploit his brother? it'd be easier to do if he was a girl but i'm sure we can come up with something (i feel evil for posting this)

Wow! I am the most perverted person i know and i didn't think anything of the post. I figured this website was full of mature adults. But, i geuss everyone is just as perverted and childlike as I am. What is there to exploit? Philidor's Defense (1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 d6) is a sound, albeit passive, opening.
As stated before, 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 does a good job of using your extra tempo to open up the game (opening lines for your Bishops and Queen and clearing the center of pawns so that you can rapidly put your pieces into play and attack the Black position) and taking advantage of Black's passive defense.
That being said, the Philidor is still a sound opening choice, and it will take more than a few opening moves to take it apart. You'll need to analyze full games in order to achieve anything meaningful.

My brother and I play chess every now and again. I am usually White and he, obviously, is usually Black. We allways open with 1. e4, e5 2. (anything), d6. Basically, is there a 2nd and 3rd move I can make to exploit his setup?
