Shouldn't you also show the opening, perhaps a few moves after the opening as well when you call out your favorite?
Queens gambit, which seems to be usually declined.
eXecute,
after 1. d4 d5; 2. c4 Nf6; White has 3. cxd5 Nxd5(3...Qxd5?! and Black will lose one or multiple tempi); 4. e4 with a nice center.
I prefer this line. You should check it out.
My favourite opening is the Alekhine defense (1.e4 Nf6 2.e5 Nd5 3.d4 d6 is the start of the mainline), which i am not playing much lately since i want to make some experience with classical 1.e4 e5 stuff.
I crashed Firefox by putting too many side variations into a diagram so I'll just summarize:
4.Nf3! is probably significantly stronger than 4.e4 in the aforementioned line (1.d4 d5 2.c4 Nf6?! 3.cxd5! Nxd5 [3...Qxd5 is relatively best, I think] 4.Nf3! [4.e4 Nf6 5.Nc3 e5!] where Black has several tries:
4...f5 is probably best. After 5.g3 e6 6.Bg2 Be7 7.O-O O-O 8.Nc3 White is somewhat better.
4...Bf5 is weak but common in my experience. White plays 5.Qb3! with a big advantage.
4...Nf6 5.Nc3 Bf5 6.Qb3! is again very good for White, who meets 6...Qc8 with 7.g3.
Against other moves White continues with e4. This avoids Black's main idea, the e5 push.
My favorite opening is the Caro-Kann, 1.e4 c6 2.d4 d5.
Theoretically Nf3 may be better than e4, but i prefer e4, because it gives you the center immediately, and allows White to develop his pieces to optimal positions.
