if you hate it so much play d4. if not play Nc3, i know there are tons of variations (in my note book the Nc3 lines take up two pages and i'm still not finished yet.) but write down the variations (study's show that writing things down boost memory more than typing it.) and eventually you'll know the lines and the french will of been worth revising. your not going to be a chess player if you can't be bothered to revise variations despite how huge they may be.

The Knight on d2 is not particularly a problem in the Tarrasch. This is because Blacks two main responses (3Nf6 and c5) lead to a natural sequence of moves that remove it from that unfavourable square.

Well the strongest move is clearly Nc3. If u are lazy to study 50 variations, then dont be lazy
