Couldn't recommend this opening enough. I can't lose against the french anymore. I beat Sigma Chess at 2500 with this. I'm not 2500.
Try the following two:
1.e4 e6 2.b3 with the idea of sacrificing e4
1.e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Be3!? Dxe4 4. Nc3, Nf6 5.f3!?

With either side having reasonable chances to push their plans through.
