Thanks broo :)
I've wondered that myself as I've found a lot of resources on the najdorf and other sicilian but lacks a pure scheveningen.
Ok, I know lately i've been asking for recommendations for good books on certain openings but.....Can you recommend some good books on the Sicilian Scheveningan for Black for starters and the advanced player? Thanks :)
Was Kasparov & Nikitin Sicilian Defence Scheveningan (1984, in Russian) translated to English?

Lol what.
Batsford press has a paperback version at amazon by kasparov used. I'm not a big fan of Batsford but it is there.

The Keres Attack is why you don't see much on pure Schevenigen. Most Shevenigen players use a Najdorf move order to avoid the Keres Attack. The Emms book is pretty much pure Schevenigen although it uses a Najdorf move order.
