Good Openings to Play for a Very Aggressive Player?

I mean "aggressive" as in "quickly taking control of the center and establishing threats on the opponent early on in the game".

You dont do any of that.  "Agressive" openings are the last thing you need to be worrying about.  Try not dropping pieces, missing simple tactics, and follow opening principles.

It is not the super-simple tactics that I am failing right now, it is the several move tactics that I have a hard time seeing.

You have to be kidding right?

Did you look at the game of yours i analyzed?

Complexity is indeed relative. What may seem difficult to me is easy to you because of the strength difference.

Agreed, but the super simple tactics are exactly the ones you are missing.  Please take a look at the game i analyzed, and you will understand.  I am not trying to be a jerk about this, its just that i see so many posts like yours where beginners are saying "Im an agressive player"  and they want to know agressive openings, when they are hanigng pieces, and missing simple tactics.

I understand. Tactics are the most important part of any chess game.

Please listen to Diakonia. It IS the super-simple tactics that you are failing now. Heck, you aren't even counting correctly, and that's the most basic tactic of all.

Right now all you need is the opening principles:

Control the center

Develop minor pieces toward the center

Castle

Connect your rooks

I've got that part down. I am mainly deficient in tactics.

Are you talking to me or Diakonia? Which part do you have down?

Diakonia's basic principles on openings.

Too many people I play already know how to destroy the Sicilian, which is why I never play it.

Let me guess:

By the Hulkyhulk attack 1.e4 c5 2.Ba6 - right?

Avatar of gchess33

That is utter nonsense. Ba6 can be thrown back quickly.

There is no way to force an opening advantage vs the Sicilian.

Then why are you looking for agressive openings?

Avatar of gchess33

Not forced but there is a way to make things very comfortable for the opponent.

Avatar of gchess33

Because I need to find a few openings to stick to and learn in depth, so that I can land myself in a good early middlegame. I would like to reach positions in the middlegame that are best suited to the tactics I am best at, so I can perform best. I am currently working on tactics on my own, although help is of course appreciated. Also, I need to understand how to respond well to the openings my opponents play against me.

Stonewall attack is pretty good, I am aware that it is a begginers opening but you can play it at least until 1900.
