frankenstein dracula!

advance french?

I expected better from you...

Considering that I don’t know literally any French lines I think I did reasonably welll

chamo2074

You got the Tarrasch right

chamo2074

Right I'll give the solution away since it might be a chess.com misname

chamo2074

Solution:

1) Evans accepted, Mainline, Mieses. But black blunders and plays Nxd5 instead Ne5:

2) there's a 2000 rated player with a french flag who explained everything in page 2:

3) Is a QGD.

It happens if black is scared to get Bg5 and plays Be7.

4) Everyone guessed it: The frankestein-Dracula

5: It's a labourdonnais line according to chess.com database:

chamo2074

You can't make it that exact names and move sequences only we gotta use a thinking process

its notable enough to have a name which is not like "the 18.Re6 19.Nd2 variation"

yeah that could be possible ig

chamo2074

Is this some kind of exchange french?

Ilampozhil25

no lol

chamo2074

hmmm no e-pawns and not an exchange french ha

Ilampozhil25

there are soooo many more openings the e pawns get exchanged

also, the pawns could have been captured a different time

also also, is there any exchange french line where blacks d pawn gets captured but neither of whites c and d pawns get captured?

chamo2074

hmm good point

chamo2074

Wait I think the knight recaptured on d5

Which leaves a question mark around black's e-pawn
