Honestly, there's not really a lot you can do. Retiring the knight just leaves you a pawn down for nothing, and sacrificing it is just unsound. The only move which doesn't leave white fighting for a draw is 14.Qe2, trying to break through the e file. Black replyes 14...hxg5 15.Re1 Ae6! 16.dxe6 f6! (the key move: the e file is now closed, and white attack is over). This position is usually evaluated as something between equality and a slight edge for black; white position looks nice at first glance, but the problem is that he has trouble doing anything with his heavy pieces; there is no way to break open the position. His only try to penetrate is through the h file, but black meets Re3-h3 with Rxh3 followed by g6 (to keep the white queen out of h5). After that there is little white can do apart sitting still while black completes development with a very good position. I'm sure tht you might be able to find some kind of idea to get practical chances is this line, but overall this simple h6 idea is one of the reasons behind the Moller attack unpopularity: it might be acceptable for white to be held to a draw in the O-O Nxh7 lines when black finds several precise defensive moves, but the way black can get away with h6 without allowing any complication is just depressing.
i am having trouble playing the Mollers attack and i was wondering if there were any players out there who new any good lines. The opening is- 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Bc5 4.c3 Nf6 5.d4 exd4 6. cxd4 Bb4+ 7. Nc3 Nxe4 8.o-o Bxc3 9.d5 Bf6 10.Re1 Ne7 11.Rxe4 d6 12. Bg5 Bxg5 13.Nxg5 h6.... now what should i do?
