I was watching a video that featured 1. g3, and after a few moves the GM playing with whites made a comment that left me intrigued.
After this position, he played 3.Nxh3 and the other player resigned. The GM playing with whites said something along the lines of "I am a GM, I know all the tricks", and it was obvious that the move 2...Bh3 was a trick of some kind, I am assuming if captured with the white's bishop.
Could someone please explain me why this is a trap? I mean, what happens if whites take the bishop with the bishop. Thank you very much!
This is most probably a bullet game, there is a term LeFong I think from the Chessbrahs where people premove in the opening and instead of taking the bishop, they will premove nf3 or something and Black wins a piece. It is a dirty bullet trick and has nothing to do whatsoever with real chess. It works quite often. If 3.bxh3 there is no difference.
